Sound on the Mound

Sound on the mound is the name of Torry Academy's first ever radio station!
Started by S5 pupils in November 2007, they have currently produced a number of shows focussed on life in Torry Academy. At first it was very much trial and error, but there is a clear progression in the quality of programmes. They have been supported by a grant from the Youth Activities Fund, provided by Aberdeen City Council. A dedicated team, with strong leaders, are essential to the success of a project like this.
All pupils in the school can contribute ideas for the shows through the Suggestion Box in the library.
